Museo del Prado

It is a museum with a variety of pieces of art. It is located in the capital of Spain, the city of Madrid; it has many Greco Roman pieces of art from many countries like Italy and France.

Thyssen Bornemisza Museum

This is another museum in the city of Madrid in which we would find mainly painting pieces from unique styles such as Gothic and pop art. We would find many collections of the Italian Renaissance, Impressionism and Baroque.

We can also find American paintings from the twentieth century. In 1956 the museum added collections of art of furniture and carpets.

National Museum Center of Art Reina Sofía

Along with the Prado and the Thyssen Bornemisza Museum it forms the Triangle of Art in Madrid and was opened in 1992 being one of the museums that receive more tourists.

This museum has art exhibitions exclusively of the twentieth century. Here you would find pieces of art of artists like Salvador Dali and Joan Miro.

National Museum of Catalan Art

Located in the famous city of Barcelona in the same Main Palace, it has pieces of art that are unique and previously had been part of the Museum of Modern Art and the National Museum of Catalonia.
